Description
Join us Thursday, April 12, to hear Julie Dirksen, author of Design for How People Learn, discuss how design can rescue people from unrewarding, disadvantageous, and even harmful behaviors. / Design is frequently about helping people do the right things, but when behavior change is involved, that can be a challenge. Even when armed with compelling, conflicting information, people often continue to make poor decisions. / Julie will discuss how we as design professionals can create environments that best support good decision making. Julie’s recommendations stem from the fields of Neuroscience, Behavioral Economics, Behavioral Psychology, Persuasive Technology, User Experience and even Game Design research
