8:30am - 5:30pm
Come join Corey Haines and the folks from Code42 Software for a coderetreat, a fun day-long, intensive practice event focused on the fundamentals of software development and design. The unique coderetreat format (which eliminates the pressure of 'getting things done' and focuses on practicing basic principles of good design) has proven to be a highly effective (and fun) means of skill improvement.
You will only to bring a laptop with the development tools you require to write code using your chosen programming languages. Morning coffee and lunch will be provided. Check out coderetreat.org for further details on what to expect.
Coderetreat is language-agnostic, so you'll find people with interests in lots of different languages. You might even have a chance to experiment in a language you haven't used before. The $20.00 registration deposit will be refunded in full when:
- you attend the event;
- you notify Corey Haines by Sunday, May 13th that you are unabled to attend.
Any funds not refunded will be donated to the Coderetreat Community Contribution Fund (c3f), a non-profit dedicated to furthering kids programming and community-oriented practice events.
