Description
A 3D printer prints 3 dimensional objects. Our's print ABS or PLA plastic. You can download parts to print from online sources such as thingiverse.com or you can design your own with 3D software like SketchUp or 123d.
The Mill is home to several open-source DIY 3D printers.
This course will introduce you to these experimental printers and teach you what you need to get started.

- Hardware overview
- Software overview
- Basic project workflow
- Setup and cleanup
Once you have completed this course you will be certified to use the machine for your own projects
