Job Responsibilities:

Information Technology at Reeher ensures the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of Reeher’s Solutions and the data of our customers. The IT/Dev Ops Manager is a player/coach role that, along with the team, owns all technical operations of the Reeher Platform. This role leads a small team of professionals that will have the responsibility of maintaining, designing and growth planning for the infrastructure supporting the Reeher Software-as-a-Service Platform. The candidate should have excellent Linux, networking, and virtualization related knowledge.   • Lead, coach and grow the careers of the IT/Dev Ops Manager
  • Set team objectives and priorities
  • Oversee the monitor, operate and maintain hardware, software, and networks that support the Reeher Platform
  • Oversee Reeher’s IT Service Desk and associated processes
  • Directly accountable for the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of Reeher’s Solutions
  • Work directly with business and functional users to support and improve existing applications and processes;
  • Resolve business and technical problems by identifying, evaluating and implementing improvements to processes and applications
  • Document and maintain Reeher’s Information Security Management System compliant with ISO 27001:2013
  • Document and ensure compliance with Reeher’s Standard Operating Procedures, user guides and process flows
  • Create documentation (including Standard Operating Procedures, user guides and process flows)
  • Maintain and coordinate Reeher’s backup systems and recovery activities
  • Plan system upgrades and patches consistent with Reeher’s Change Management Policy
  • Work with Cisco Routers/Switches/Firewalls to perform preventative maintenance and changes driven by Reeher’s Change Management Policy
  • Working with Reeher’s Development Team, deploy code to Reeher’s Production Environment
  • Define Reeher’s Disaster Recovery Strategies in relation to IT Services Reeher provides
  • Stay up to date on latest releases of application as well as relevant business knowledge
  • Participate in software/hardware testing; Be aware of, and comply with, all corporate policies
  • Working with Reeher’s Development Team, deploy code to Reeher’s Production Environment
  • Perform system load testing and scalability assessments
  • Perform incident resolution, problem determination and root cause analysis for Reeher’s IT systems
  • Help define and track IT business and performance objectives
  • Participate in on-call rotation


  • Associate’s degree required; Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • 4-7 years of Information Technology experience
  • 3+ years of Linux Experience
  • 3+ years of VMware Experience
  • Troubleshooting skills with server platforms including RHEL, Apache Tomcat, and/or VMWare ESX preferred
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge of General Information Security processes and procedures
  • Exceptional written and oral skills, as well as the ability to translate technical jargon into user-friendly terms to effectively communicate issues and resolutions and create documentation for user reference
  • Ability and desire to acquire new skills and knowledge quickly
  • Must be self-guided individual, requiring minimal supervision
  • Solid project management skills
  • Industry specific certification such as CCNA, MCP, etc a plus
  • Technical Support experience a plus
