Sportsdigita is a rapidly growing digital creative and development agency specializing in helping professional sports teams stay on the cutting edge of the internet age. We're small, fast-paced, and filled with strong personalities.

We are looking for a mid to senior level frontend web developer with STRONG Javascript and general programming skills. (Love or knowledge of sports not required.)

Come work in our cool office in the North Loop, where there's always sarcasm in the air and beer in the fridge.

That is, if you...

...are a Javascript ninja who can define "closure" and "lambda," and who has an opinion about whether Javascript's prototypical inheritance is or isn't broken.

...know jQuery inside and out, but treat it like a library and not a language.

...are at least interested in some trendier frameworks like BackboneJS.

...have some basic knowledge of the command line.

...are a version control native, and won't make too much fun of us for still using subversion.

...know at least one other programming language, and can tell me why you like one of them better.

...want to work at a growing company where, if you put the effort in, you can pretty much define your role.

Bonuses, but not required:

1. You're preferred environment is a terminal and a text editor, rather than an IDE.

2. You've spent at least one late night rewriting an HTML5 shim because it doesn't support IE8 quite as well as it claims to.

3. SVG, or Canvas.

4. You've got some PHP or Ruby experience.

5. You've written some ActionScript, but don't really want to.

We'll pay you what you're worth (and we know what that means in this developers' market).
