“Technology-related jobs have grown rapidly in the past 25 years. But the past two years have been tough on everyone, including technology workers. Experts are talking about a “jobless recovery” in which companies return to growth but continue to put the brakes on hiring. Most industries, including technology, are still hesitant to bring on new talent. In fact, it’s unlikely many new tech jobs will emerge in 2010, but analysts expect to see a rebound in the years ahead, especially in information technology.”
