West Saint Paul to pursue fiber optic network

“The West St. Paul City Council is moving forward with plans to install fiber optic cables to connect key public buildings in the city and potentially provide internet, phone and data services to private enterprise.

While some council members see the installation as an opportunity to save money in the long run and establish a high tech amenity for future businesses, others see the timing as rushed and the price to steep for the city’s pockets.”
