Mr. Bowman will provide strategic insight and guidance to Code 42 Software as the company continues accelerating product development and increasing global market share.
His appointment follows Code 42’s $52.5 million first round of funding in January 2012. The investment was by led by Accel Partners with participation from Split Rock Partners. It was the first major investment from Accel Partners’ Big Data Fund, dedicated to funding category-defining infrastructure and application companies specializing in “Big Data.”
