TST Media snags new VP for next growth phase

Jeff Liebl has been named Vice President, Sales and Marketing at TST Media, according to CEO and co founder Justin Kaufenberg.

Liebl, who joined last week, will lead the business development and marketing initiatives; ultimately he’s is responsible for developing new growth strategies for the VC backed startup. TST Media has approximately 90 employees and Liebl will be leading a team of around 20.

“What it boils down to is that we’re beginning to take the next step of maximizing revenue from the business.  Jeff is a seasoned and proven leader to help us grow in this area,” said Kaufenberg.  “Finding a high level sales executive was hard, and we were aiming high, but we’re thrilled.”

Liebl has 15 years of executive level experience growing venture-backed technology companies, including involvement in a successful IPO of Ubiquity Software in 2005. Prior to TST, Jeff spent six years in various senior management roles at big data analytics firm eBureau and its sister company TruSignal, most recently as Chief Strategy Officer.

Jeff graduated with honors from the University of St. Thomas and earned his MBA from the University of Michigan Ross School of Business.

“It’s a big move and I’m excited to be a part of such a promising local startup…TST Media has a great culture.” Liebl said.

Both Justin and Jeff are total studs. Together they will easily take over the world.

Congrats to both, and if I wanted to work for a hot startup, I would go to TST without hesitation.
