Minneapolis startup DoDrinks has won the MobDemo competition track from the two day MobCon mobile conference that just wrapped up. The voting process was based 100% on audience feedback and the margins were tight, according to MobDemo’s organizers.
Presented in conjunction with Mobile Twin Cities and Lazard Middle Market, eight homegrown mobile apps were demostrated over the past 48 hours. DoDrinks has won a cash prize of $5,000 plus a $20,000 credit towards mobile development services through MentorMate.
Mobile Realty Apps, led by entrepreneur Aaron Kardell, came in second place and Qonqr was ranked third. Other participants include recent Startup Weekend Twin Cities 4 winners Nift Gifter and Donate Right.
