Five Minnesota companies post up on the ‘Tech 200’

Lead 411 Tech 200It’s no Inc. 500 / 5,000 or even the Deloitte Technology Fast 500, but Lead 411’s Tech 200 list aspires to recognize the top 200 private companies from the national tech landscape based percentage of revenue growth from 2008 to 2011.

Only 1,000 companies applied, and there are certainly more local tech companies that could easily rank, but it is worthwhile to note those that did both apply and qualify.  At the least, attempts of this effect do offer unique insights into (self-reported) metrics that surround a given companies financial position.

“In this day and age, there are a lot of technology companies in the market, and what makes one stand out from the rest is its ability to stay, and increase its revenue,” says the report.  Below are the five Minnesota tech firms that placed on the Tech 200 list, according to business information provider Lead 411:

Rank | Company Name | 3 yr Growth | Revenue | Employees | Headquarters

24 | Code 42 Software Inc. | 385% | $18.5M | 145 | Minneapolis

48 | MentorMate, LLC.  | 224% | $3.6M | 135 | Minneapolis

53  | The Nerdery | 208% | 26.4M | 400 | Minneapolis

I’ve gotta admit, whichever employee at Lead411 came up with the idea for an award that gets the best companies to hand over their contact information deserves a new Tesla. Every month.

Regardless, kudos to Matthew, Bjorn, Mike, and the others for being on a tear. You guys all keep our ecosystem strong.
