Formed in 2001, AtTask has been named to the Inc. 500 fastest growing private companies’ for three consecutive years and has raised nearly $40m in venture capital.  Hoy says they have over 1500 customers, including, Apple, Nike and local healthcare provider Fairview Health Services.  Headcount in Utah is at about 250 employees, while the local office is starting out around five.

“We’re fortunate to be here in the Twin Cities —  a great talent pool and open market for our product,” Hoy said, explaining intentions to hire for programmers, product managers, database engineers, and usability pros. “Once we get this technical office humming, say 20-30 by the end of the year, we will grow the sales and support side.”
