Naiku to pitch at SIAA Ed Tech Industry Summit in May

NaikuMinneapolis edutech startup Naiku has been selected by the Education Division of the Software & Information Industry Association (SIIA) for its “Innovation Incubator Program.

More of a conference than an actual incubator, Naiku is one of ten national edutech firms to be featured during the 10th annual SIAA Ed Tech Industry Summit, May 5-7, in San Francisco.

Semantics aside, it represents an relevant opportunity for Naiku to reach a captive audience of key stakeholders at a time when scale is imminent, as indicated by the addition of CEO Greg Wright.

“The SIIA Innovation Incubator Program identifies and supports entrepreneurs in their development and distribution of innovative learning technologies. The program began in 2006 and has provided support for dozens of successful products and companies in their efforts to improve education through the use of software, digital content and related technologies.”

After pitching to a review panel and audience of 300, awards will be presented to the Most Innovative and Most Likely to Succeed based on votes of conference attendees. The Educators Choice Award will also be presented based on votes from educators and administrators from around the U.S.

“This is the hallmark event for our industry, the entire ecosystem will be there…anybody who is anybody in edutech right now. We’re honored to have made it this far and excited to presenting in May,” Wright said of the event.
