Twin Cities tech startup Dentl pulls $950k for Dental network


DentlNascent Twin Cities tech startup Dentl has raised a $950k first round of equity investment according to co founder and CEO Alex Huff.

“Dentl was formed to create and support relationships among Dental industry professionals,” he explains.

Together with co-founder Paul Konrardy, the venture is developing mobile tools specifically for dentists, hygienists, office staff, patients, students, sales reps, manufacturers and distributors.  Huff cites the combined market size over a $100b/year industry.

“We’ve gone through alpha and next step for us is beta,” Huff says, already gearing up for another raise Q1 2014. The undisclosed source involves “A fund that is used to provide capital to startups specifically within the dental space.”
