Cargill cuts 169 Twin Cities jobs in IT outsourcing

“Cargill Inc. will cut 169 jobs starting next month as it outsources information technology services to an India-based firm. Wayzata-based announced the move in March, saying it could eliminate up to 900 positions.

The affected employees work in Cargill’s global IT infrastructure unit in Hopkins, senior employment lawyer Tracy Wessel Johnson wrote in a July 2 letter to the Minnesota Department of Employment and Economic Development (DEED).”
