Police Body Camera Pilot Program Advances in Minneapolis

“Some Minneapolis police officers will soon be protecting the public with cameras rolling.

On Monday, a Minneapolis city council committee approved the outline of a body camera pilot program for police officers, which will officially begin in just a couple of weeks. While approving the program, the council also directed city staff to report back on issues, including how the pilot program will be measured for success and how the study will be independently reviewed.”
