“A former Minnesota collegiate hockey player is launching a tech startup that aims to help businesses recruit former elite athletes.
Michael Rucinski, who played hockey at St. Could State and spent a few years in the minor leagues, co-founded AthLead with the goal of linking recent college graduates to employers who appreciate seeing competitive athletic experience on a resume. Not every player in a team locker room makes for a strong job candidate. However, Rucinski said many recruiters seek out athletes for their competitive drive and teamwork skills.”
