Q&A with Sport Ngin on their NE Minneapolis relocation

Minneapolis sports technology SaaS firm Sport Ngin recently announced their intentions of moving headquarters from the Van Buren Building to 807 Broadway NE, also know as Highlight Center.   We reached out to Marketing Manager Jim Dahline to learn more:

Why are you moving?

JD: We’ve ran out of space completely. We also want to get our employees all in the same space. Right now we are scattered. I think we have about 190 or so MPLS HQ based employees. Van Buren is a beautiful building, we’ve just outgrown it.

What’s the size differential?

JD: We’ll have about 30,000 sq ft on a single floor when we move in with room to grow. We have options to almost double that down the road. We currently have about 18,000 total right now dispersed throughout our current building across three offices so consolidation will be nice.

When does the construction start and when do you anticipate being fully relocated?

JD: Renovation is active and ongoing. We anticipate it being available and moving in June 2015 – that’s the goal.

Anything else you would like to add?

JD: It’s a massive building that will continue to renovate and bring in new tenants. We really hope to see other tech companies come join us at 807 Broadway :)

Great space and an even better landlord #Hillcrest. Not a lot of Brick and Timber space left in N.Loop/Warehouse/NE.
