Zipnosis’ B2B shift is paying off

Screen Shot 2014-10-29 at 10.57.55 PMMinneapolis mobile diagnostic startup Zipnosis made a fundamental business model shift, creating an inflection point.

By moving away from direct to consumer mobile app sales & distribution, they’ve  refocused on becoming an engine for health providers nationwide who want to white label the product.

‘Powered by Zipnosis’ is the brand for a new enterprise SaaS platform, built with API wrapper and EMR integration.

The direction was prompted by Minnesota partnerships like FairView and North Memorial, accelerated by major client Alabama Birmingham — among 10 other unnamed customers.

“Our pipeline is overflowing,” Founder and CEO Jon Pearce says.

Founded in 2010, the venture has raised approximately $2m to date and Pearce declined to comment on any status of a current round.

“We’re have basically been making our own market all these years and preparing this day.  Starting out it was about being scrappy and now the question is how fast can we scale?”
