Zahnk heads to Kickstarter for cash

They’ve raised $1,800 from 24 backers so far — actually exceeding their goal.

“We picked a number that we knew would be achievable and practical to the first step in our business plan,” Zahnk co-founder and CEO Matt Leirdahl explains.


Founded by Leirdahl & Ben Brasket, two college friends now in the Army National Guard, Zahnk’s mobile app aims to connect consumers and merchants with nearby, real time, relevant offers aka deals.

They have an alpha app released and over a dozen small businesses on board, predominantly focused in the Winona, Minnesota area.
