Burnsville Startup Anser Innovation Fetches More Cash For PetChatz


AnserInnovationAnser Innovation, the Burnsville-based parent company of PetChatz, is seeking investment capital with a $600k round open and $325k claimed per SEC disclosure.

Formed in 2011 and led by cofounder/CEO Lisa Lavin, PetChatz hardware + software combo enables pet parents to interact with their pets through their smartphones, tablets or computer.  The product launched in November 2014 and has been steadily growing the team, distribution and vision.


Lavin says a 2.0 version is in the works, along with an “Audiovisual Medication Management System” that would apply the same technology approach towards administering patient medications in the healthcare field.

The venture has been raising money along since inception, with an estimated $3m in outside investment capital to date.
