Apple Valley based Questar Assessment has raised $5m based on a disclosure dated today.
Questar Specializes in large scale k-12 assessment software programs for state and local education agencies.
They’ve made some big moves since CEO Jaime Post Candee came in last year to lead the company.
A new brand and techology platform engineerd by CTO Keith Koch led to a string of notable customer acquisitions — including the states of Mississippi, DC & New York — valued at $44m over five years alone.
Camden Partners led the round, which included New Markets Venture Partners. Candee says the company intends to use the proceeds for working capital as a result of many recent wins and ongoing growth.
