Minneapolis Fintech Startup HomeSpotter Raises $925k


Minneapolis fintech software startup HomeSpottter has raised $925k according to this fresh SEC disclosure.

Homespotter was born in 2010 as MobileRealtyApps by serial tech entrepreneur Aaron Kardell to offer software & mobile solutions geared towards the residential real estate market (agents, brokers, MLS).

Kardell Bootstrapped the venture to traction and went on to raise a $1m seed round in April 2013 upon expanding the products footprint.  In January 2015, the name become solidified as Homespotter with $1.8m in funding from angels including Daren Cotter and Scott Burns.    This round pegs their total capitalization to date at ~$3.7m.
