Local data mining and analytics firm Centriam is relocating within Minneapolis from 211 N 1st St. to the Lumber Exchange Building on 5th St.
Launched in 2012 by Jez and partner Greg Gonsior, the Centriam insights platform integrates with large data sets to help clients extract value from their terabytes, applied primarily towards marketing efforts such as 1:1 CRM, in store merchandising, and predictive analytics.
Centriam currently has 13 employees, is hiring for 5 more with space for up to about 30 now with an option to expand within the building as desired. They recently scored a win by recuriting Jason McNellis as new VP of Analytics, coming over from RedPoint Global.
“Companies want fast insights from their data,” Jez says. “They have been collecting it for years, but the real value we provide is translating that into actionable information.”
We ran a story about Centriam last year and mantain that Centriam is still one of Minneapolis’ little secrets in the big data/analytics space, seemingly not for much longer.
