Minneapolis-Based Sensurion Raises $2m For Commercial UAS

“Sensurion provides a comprehensive offering of UAS technologies integral to its products as well as stand-alone systems. From military-grade datalinks, robust ground control systems, and field-tested — ruggedized unmanned aircraft, to intuitive graphical user interfaces and pilot-oriented mission control systems, Sensurion technologies put users and their missions as the first priority.”

The company was formed in 2013, led by former Managing Director of Flight Operations Technology at United Airlines Joseph Burns. Record show that the firm raised $725k last year and $300k earlier this year, although those likely may be rolled into this round considering the raise started in 2013. Their self-reported income is suggested to be sub $1m, looking into disclosure details.
