Angel Capital Association’s Inaugural Midwest Meeting To Be Held In Minneapolis

The inaugural 2016 Angel Capital Association Midwest Regional Meeting is happening in Minneapolis on September 22, well timed with Twin Cities Startup Week

A venue for accredited investors from across the midwest to come together, the full day conference will feature networking, education, pitches, and syndication opportunities.

“This is bigger than Minnesota,” says David Russick, Gopher Angels cofounder and organizing partner to the event.

“We are creating midwest density in starting an annual rotating event that would go city by city over the coming years. Phone and email can only go so far, this is to get people together face to face for a day to build their networks out geographically.”

Confirmed participants include: Sprint Techstars from Kansas City, REV1 from Columbus, Gener8tor from Madison, 1871 from Chicago, Target Corp Retail Techstars from Minneapolis, and GSVlabs from Redwood City, Ca.

It will be hosted at the University of Minnesota, Carlson School of Management; early bird tickets are available through August 31, from $120-$150.
