Data Crossover Signals $16m Funding Round To Service The Connected Car Revolution

PrintData Crossover based in Bloomington, Minnesota has signaled intentions of raising $16m according to this SEC disclosure.

The company operates in the realm of services for smart/connected/self-driving cars, although CEO Rick Zirbes declined to comment further on the status of the round or the agenda of his company:


“Data Crossover is the pioneering leader in the smart car automation service repair industry. The company provides technology services to dealers, auto maintenance facilities and specialty shops that need assistance in maintaining, repairing and calibrating the new and elaborate network of computers and sensors that are built into and control and guide today’s automobiles. “

The former leader of DigitalTown, Richard Pomije, is listed on the disclosure and appears to be acting CFO for Data Crossover; Gray Plant Mooty attorney Pierce McNally is also affiliated with the firm.  More as it’s known…
