PAUL, MINN – The Minnesota Council of Nonprofits (MCN) is now accepting nominations for the 2017 Dot.Org Awards in the areas of Creative Campaign, Program Delivery and Website Redesign. The awards, presented since 2007, recognize Minnesota nonprofit organizations that are utilizing technology in innovative, inspiring ways to advance their missions and connect with the communities they serve.”

Award recipients will receive complimentary admissions to the 2017 Nonprofit Communications and Technology Conference on February 21 in Minneapolis, recognition during the conference keynote session, a highlighted profile on MCN’s website, and a complimentary exhibit booth to showcase their winning project.

Nonprofits are encouraged to submit their nominations in one of three categories by Monday, January 15 based off of the following criteria:

  • Creative Campaign
    • Demonstrates that the campaign used the right tools for the job
    • Used a creative or novel approach
    • Was effective in the goals set forth
    • Engaged the audience effectively
  • Program Delivery
    • Solves a problem/challenge
    • Meets participant or client needs
    • Improves service delivery
    • Creative use of technology
  • Website Redesign
    • Meet a clear need
    • Includes a strategy for continued improvement based on analytics or other tools
    • Includes an integrated content strategy
    • Used an inclusive process during development
