Jeff Fritz Named CEO Of B2B Software Firm Healthtel

jeff-fritz-healthtel Repeat Minnesota tech entrepreneur turned executive Jeff Fritz is the new CEO of Minneapolis-based Healthtel.

Starting this month, he will be leading the 20 person company, succeeding Jason McAthie, Healthtel CFO going forward.

Founded 11 years ago by Daniel Bandt, Healthtel’s B2B software platform helps healthcare organizations execute consumer engagement campaigns from start to finish.

Fritz says he was coming off an integration following the acquisition of his previous company, Storyworks1, and considering a number of different opportunities.

“Healthtel has been growing tremendously year over year without much sales and marketing effort,” he explains of the development, adding “They have a great core technolology with huge potential to reach more customers.”

Fritz declined to site any specific customers or revenues at this time, although drawing a parallel between an earlier venture, Evolution1, that he founded in 2003 and exited in 2008 via sale to Genstar.

“I see Healthtel in a similar space to that business in terms of timing, model, and market…it’s very exciting for me to be here here right now.”

Fritz says Healthtel has been 100% self-funded so far and intends to continue with organic growth near term, while considering if there is fundraising in the future.
