The third annual IoT Hack Day is an all-day hackathon in which anyone can form a team and submit an idea for a new “internet of things” product. A grassroots effort, organizers included: Justin Grammens, Patrick Delaney, Dan McCreary, Lauris Grundmanis, Eric Tsai, Brock Johnson, Rama Prasad and Rolf Biernath.

PetChatzAnser Innovation, maker of the IoT hardware/software product PetChatz, is raising more investment capital again– to the tune of $2.5m with $950k committed.
