ClojureBridge: Intro to Programming Workshop

Description

This workshop is for women, trans, genderqueer, and/or gender non-conforming people interested in learning to program. We will be learning in Clojure. (Clojure is an expressive, general-purpose programming language; it is a dialect of Lisp, and is predominantly a functional programming language.) ClojureBridge is emphatically queer and trans friendly. This is an introductory workshop. The focus is on those new to programming. Complete beginners are welcome! (For those with some experience programming in another language we will have a 2nd track to learn more about Clojure.) We'll meet up on Friday evening to install all of the software you need, then spend Saturday learning and writing code.
