Baseball Hack Day - Where Tech & Sports Collide!

Description

March Madness not only sets the prelude to the NCAA Final Four taking place in the Twin Cities this April, but also signifies the start of the 2019 Baseball Season! On Saturday March 9th, various tech-focused and community-based organizations have partnered together to kick it off by hosting Baseball Hack Day, a one-day coding competition where tech and sports collide.

Baseball Hack Day is an annual on-site, in-person hacking event (also known as hackathon, hack fest or code fest) where baseball minds come together, form a team, and collaborate to create baseball-related projects to compete in a friendly one-day competition. Born in Boston, spring of 2012, Baseball Hack Day is a grass-roots, open-sourced "movement," held at the same day at different locations all around the world. The goal of the day is to bring creative tech minds into one room, and see what they can produce within a limited time.
