Up to 40% of the food in the United States is never eaten, yet 1 in every 8 Americans struggles to put enough food on the table. This tension has inspired policy, for-profit and non-profit leaders, innovators and entrepreneurs to develop solutions to prevent food from being wasted in the first place, re-purpose food and ingredients, and recycle the rest. In this session, panelists will share an overview of what\'s happening today and discuss their different approaches, the role technology can play, the importance of collaboration and consumer education and more.
