Pollen: Are You Ok?

Stories, art, and connection to bolster our community of care during the COVID-19 crisis.

About this Event

Pollen is committed to nurturing community and social connection during these times of physical distancing and isolation related to the current public health crisis.

We intend to keep doing what we do best — creating space for people to process the complex issues facing our community, elevating voices that go unheard far too often, and holding our shared humanity at the center of it all.

Over the next several weeks, Pollen will host a series of virtual gatherings every Thursday at 2 PM, each one featuring a community member from a wide spectrum of life in our region. In these one-on-one conversations, they’ll share their personal experience with the COVID-19 crisis, how they’re dealing with increased isolation, how they’re making ends meet at a time of economic uncertainty, how they’re helping to build a community of care, even as we’re kept apart.

We invite you to listen into these one-on-one conversations, sharing questions and thoughts with our guests and each other. Coming together to hear from others can help us do our own processing, find new ways to cope, and explore how we can lean into our values and strengthen a community of care at a time when it’s sorely needed.
