: Job Summary As an Application Developer for Minnesota IT Services (MNIT), you will provide your expertise in developing and deploying enterprise solutions including responsive web applications, web services, and data products for the Minnesota Geospatial Information Office (MnGeo) and its customers using a wide variety of platforms and frameworks including .NET, Angular and Postgres.

This position is responsible for contributing to a functional library of enterprise applications, services and databases along with maintaining and administering enterprise applications, services and databases, as well as maintaining and administering enterprise software and solutions. Responsibilities related to all aspects of the application development lifecycle including source code management, testing and deployment.

This position serves as a lead worker to other staff in MnGeo. Qualifications:

  • Minimum Qualifications:
  • Candidates must clearly demonstrate all of the following qualifications in their resume:
  • Position requires a minimum of four (4) years of experience with application development that includes:
  • Full stack web application development using ASP.NET Core and modern frontend frameworks such as Angular, React, or Vue.js.
  • Web server configuration experience (ex: IIS, Apache)
  • Experience developing application data models using relational databases management systems (ex: PostgreSQL, Oracle or SQL Server)
  • Scripting experience
  • *A Master's degree in Information Technology or a related field substitutes for three years of experience, OR related Bachelor's degree substitutes for two years, OR related Associate's degree substitutes for one year.
  • **Successful candidate must pass past-employer reference checks and a criminal history verification**
