Minnesota Startup Sets the Standard with Integrated Mobile Suite for Real Estate Brokers

MobileRealtyApps Starting with customer Counselor Realty, MobileRealtyApps released this week an integrated suite of mobile lead generation services for real estate brokers.

Founded by serial entrepreneur Aaron Kardell in 2010, the Arden Hills startup initially went to market with two iPhone application earlier this year for Champlin-based TheMLSonline.com and empowered brokers with unique method of delivering a thorough list of MLS inventory of homes for sale throughout the Minneapolis-St.Paul metro. From there, MobileRealtyApps engaged with Counselor Realty (a top five Broker in the Twin Cities) to develop an upgraded iPhone app, a new Android app, an integrated text/voice response solution and custom mobile website.

Each component of the solution ties into the next; a potential home buyer might drive by a property and call or text for more information on the property.  They will then get a return text or recording with basic details that links to the mobile website with more information.  The mobile website then shows more information and detects if they have an iPhone or Android device and points them to the download.  The app provides a full GPS map search for all homes on the market within the Counselor branded experience and consumers can search for properties from the entire MLS, but all data ultimately go back to the broker that sponsored the app.

The holistic approach reaches consumers with basic phones (voice & text), feature phones (mobile web), and smartphones (iPhone and Android – soon to be BlackBerry as well) with an experience that matches the devices  capability level.  Additionally, agent can essentially provide home buyers with their own version of the app. Counselor Realty’s 300+ agents can each share “their own app” with potential home buyers.

“As far as I know, there are other vendors that do real estate smartphone apps, others that do mobile web, others that do text and voice response.  We may very well be the first and only single-solution provider that does all three in one,” says Kardell.

Aaron's a beast when it comes to knowing what his customers wants. I wish I had started my past companies with (rather than just for) the customer like he does, it would've saved me thousands of hours and dollars. He eats and breathes this space.

    Keep crushing.
