Minnesota venture capitalist Jeff Hinck has recently made a $1k donation to BRIDGEdotMN, saying:
“If you are on the wrong side of the digital divide — it is like being illiterate — which can be very hard to overcome. With the right help early on, the returns over a lifetime are enormous.”
Thank you Jeff Hinck for investing into Minnesota’s technology future!
100% of the funds will be used to provide Minneapolis 9th grader Tricia with a new computer, mobile broadband and professional training.
BRIDGEdotMN is a collaboration among TECHdotMN, Project for Pride in Living (PPL), CTEP Ameri Corps, and Mobile Citizen formed to equip local kids with technology resources that increase their digital literacy skills.
Jeff Hinck joins a growing list from the Minnesota tech community (Augusoft, Clockwork, Tony Abena, LeadPlayer, Software for Good) who are making a positive impact on Twin Cities youth.
