Renters Warehouse acquires

RentersWarehouseRenters Warehouse in Golden Valley isn’t a tech company by nature, but CEO Brenton Hayden sees the future, and that’s where it’s at.

The franchise property management business he started in 2007 and grew to over $6m in sales is looking to reach it’s next $6m through the integration of software, mobile, and marketing, and data tools.

As such, the entrepreneurial landlord recently took a controlling stake in – an all in one rental property digital suite for agents and managers. This Delaware startup “was young but profitable,” he notes, declining to disclose the acquisition price while saying that he’d like to quadruple revenues in 2013.

“Look at what’s happening in the real-estate and technology world,” he says, pointing to deals like Hotpads, Postlets, and RentJuice.

“We want to continue to grow our company by accumulating specific technologies and intellectual property,” says Hayden.

Love this…solution grade technology for a real problem. Marry that to great human service and I wouldn’t be surprised to see Renters Warehouse continue their tear.
