“Shares of Stratasys Ltd. jumped 7 percent Monday, March 4, after the Eden Prairie maker of 3D printers reported its fourth quarter pro forma revenue increased by 23 percent over the same period last year.
Stratasys forecast that sales would continue to climb this year and predicted revenue of between $430 million and $445 million, above the $421 million consensus expectation of analysts polled by Thomson Reuters. Shares rose $4.56 to close Monday at $68.83.
In its first earnings report since it merged with Israel-based Objet Ltd. on Dec. 1, Stratasys said it had pro forma revenue of $96.4 million for the period ended Dec. 31, compared with $78.3 million for 2011.”
