“The Apple Store is set to move to a larger space at Southdale Center shopping mall in Edina. But in keeping with the legendary secrecy of parent company Apple Inc., details of the move have not been disclosed.
Shoppers at Southdale Center can clearly see a first-level space in the mall’s central atrium area covered with black panels, featuring the Apple logo and website address in white lettering. The space is close to the Herberger’s store in the mall and not far from the existing Apple Store.
Lauren Carpenter, director of marketing and business development for Southdale, declined to comment on the new space and referred questions to Apple. Calls to Apple were not returned.”
