Early bird registration open for Startup Weekend Twin Cities 5 at CoCo Mpls.

by The TECHdotMN Team

Startup-Weekend-Twin-Cities-5Startup Weekend is an intense 54 hour event that has provided a stage for thousands of entrepreneurs around the world.  This is the fifth Startup Weekend Twin Cities over the past three years, dating back to the early days of CoCo St. Paul.

We’re returning to CoCo again this fall at the Grain Exchange building in downtown Minneapolis on October 25, 26, 27th.

It starts with an idea. Anyone can pitch theirs to the audience for vetting and voting on Friday night. Diverse teams (developers + designers + business) will oganically form around the more popular ideas, as determined by all participants.

On Saturday and Sunday, real product development, business planning, marketing, and strategy collide in a race against the clock to produce a working prototype / MVP by 4pm Sunday afternoon. Qualified entrepreneurial speakers and mentors (TBA) will be present to help advise, encourage and challenge teams to be all that they can be. The experience culminates Sunday night with demos and presentations in front of a live audience of peers, judges, and a mix of Minnesota’s many tech

Whether you are looking for feedback on a idea, to learn about startups, find a co-founder, acquire new skills, or collaborate with the like-minded – Startup Weekend is the perfect environment to test your idea and take the first steps towards launching your own startup. This is a fast and fun experience that rewards execution over everything else.

Early bird registration is open through 9/25 or at 50% capacity, whichever comes first; food and beverage throughout the weekend is included.
