Q-Up Plus solves for the lack of secure automated direct communication between consumers, members and students with the businesses, organizations and institutions that they are involved with. These organizations are also dependent upon the ability for these parties to communicate with one another. It started out with a desire to allow people to directly share their personal contact info with one another securely using a QR encode (non-optically).
What is the full launch/release date planned?
We expect to launch in the first quarter of 2014.

What is the specific technology or combination of technologies is used? Is there any IP?
The mobile application will be natively released on both iPhone and Android formats using AES-256 (military grade) encrypted transmission via Bluetooth, WiFi, and NFC transmission to send and receive contact info, messages, photos and documents. We have two utility patents pending.
What is the size/scope of your market and how will you scale?
Approximately 174 million Americans belong to retail loyalty programs, with over 18 unmanageable memberships for each consumer, approximately $4b of the $12b offered goes unused annually, due to lack of communication and difficulty in signing up, of which and we will scale through channel distribution.
What is your revenue model?
Our private label B2B model is subscription-based, determined per app per month, plus analytic reporting services.

Our understanding of the desire for better and secure direct communications between the consumer to retail, membership to organization, and student to institution relationships.
What is your biggest weakness?
Lack of capitalization — human and financial.

A major big-box retail, senior executive.
