Judges have selected the finalists and the public will have their say on the winners; half of the finalist ideas stem from Minnesota, three of which involve mobile applications:
The Simplicity Challenge as part of Target Health marks an ongoing effort on behalf of the $40b local retailer to tap into markets and minds outside the corporate firewall. Over the summer, Target opened an ‘innovation center’ in San Francisco, followed by a $75k ‘mobile app challenge’ through the Target Retail Accelerator.
