Enterprise IT consulting firm Virteva has relocated its HQ from Golden Valley’s Park Place East building to 20,000 square feet at 6110 Golden Hills Dr.
After months of prep, planning and construction — the upgrade was unveiled this week during a series of open house parties and tours. Although the change isn’t far in distance, CEO Tom Kieffer considers it the result of “Years of hard work and a little luck,” a reflection of Virteva’s growing prominence in the competitive marketplace for managed services.
“We’ve made it through a threshold that is enabling us to do some next level stuff,” he says with a mix of seriousness and excitement.
Virteva began 8 years ago, indirectly entering through the data center business with a venture that he considers a “dot com misadventure.” Through the process, the firm changed directions, owners and names before becoming the Virteva of today: a 100 person outfit featuring a 24/7 call center and tier 3 data center serving mid to large enterprises such as ATK, UHG and Carlson Companies.
“We know our roots and want to keep them local.”
With annual revenues breaking the $10m mark, Keiffer and company now sights set on increasing value to current customers global needs while also broadening their national base. With bigger ambitions in mind, Virteva remains conscious of the local landscape, partnering with nearby neighbors like Calabrio and even offering an informal ‘incubator’ space where smaller emerging ventures can co-locate.
“I’d like to say it was some great big cunning plan…I’ve experienced both success and failure in the technology business and we’re excited to be on the right side of that with Virteva.
It’s great to have a spacious new home for our team and our clients.”
