St. Paul edutech startup Yemyo raises $100k

YemyoSt.Paul-based edutech startup Yemyo has raised $100k in early stage financing, according to a SEC disclosure.

YEMYO was launched earlier this spring by former superintendent Frankie Poplau and serves as a curriculum collaboration tool for teachers, parents and students.

It’s sold into districts and has seasonal sales cycle which ramps-up right about now for fall school starts. YEMYO is also developing a second product focused on the front-end of education at the student level.

“With our introductory product Standard Sightline complete, this fresh capital will be used to ramp up sales and marketing efforts, while continuing to enhance customer value through the development of a standards-based report card,” says Poplau.
