Playtabase, the makers of wearable tech Reemo, have turned to Indiegogo this week for a crowdfunding campaign.
The Minneapolis-based startup has 45 days to pull in $50k+ from pledges starting at $5, ranging up to $7,500. Reemo was designed to helpe people link IoT smart devices via gesture controlled wristband in a way “so simple grandma could use it.”
Playtabase was formed by a cohort of U of M Students and was once a Minnesota Cup division contender. The crowdfunding drive comes at an interesting time with respect to the venture’s acceptance into a Microsoft home automation themed accelerator just last month.
