Through the arrangement, Buzzcut and Fargo Monthly will co-market the free nightlife iOS app throughout the city and drive adoption among users and merchants.
“We’re thrilled to bring Buzzcut to Fargo/Moorhead, my hometown and a community filled with passionate, friendly people and a really thriving nightlife scene,” Co founder and North Dakota native Joseph Taralson says.
Buzzcut is roughly one year young, providing a real time source for consumers to discover localized deals, music, trivia, other social events around town. They’ve gained ground in the Twin Cities and are monetizing via merchants who pay for premium adverts.
Taralson notes that the Android app is in development for release early next year, and his focus is now on identifying a similar media partner in the Twin Cities and other select markets.
