Edina fintech startup Curenci raises $125k

curenci_logoEdina fintech startup Curenci has raised $125k of a $190k round, according to a recent SEC disclosure.

Launched in 2012, Curenci began through the acquisition of core technology assets, which in turn formed an integrated mobile payment and loyalty marketing platform.  Beyond that, the company descibes itself rather ambiguously:

“We bring the mutual security of escrow to buyers and sellers conducting transactions of any value. We add to mobile’s mobility and privacy by placing everyone’s sensitive financial credentials in a secure digital vault, not in a vulnerable e-wallet.  We link communities and people by connecting to their hearts, and through a progressive dialogue, create scalable, forward-thinking program structures that are ready to pivot as your organization grows.  Our no-debt real-time curenci-to-curenci engine and versatile, cost saving stored value technology is a solution within a solution. It offers financial inclusiveness and a gateway to an interconnected payment system between traditional and alternative financial instruments and accounts for B-2-B, B-2-C, C-2-B and P-2-P applications.”

“As a matter of company policy, we do not comment on our capital raising activities,” said CEO Bob Brogan .
