It is important to recognize those who financially sponsor TECHdotMN because their contribution helps to advance Minnesota’s technology industry.
Thank you LeadPages for reinvesting!
1) What does your LeadPages do and why?
LeadPages is a lead and sales conversion platform. It’s the centerpiece of digital marketing campaigns that allow our customers to collect more high-quality leads and convert more of those leads into customers.
LeadPages is the only platform that captures leads and drives sales conversion via email, web pages, social media and SMS text messages. Our goal is to create insanely useful and beautiful tools that work almost instantly, make life easier, and eventually change our industry.
We believe compelling online marketing doesn’t need to be time consuming and tedious. Our mission is to take the best and latest of what’s been tested and proven in marketing, and create apps that just do it for our customers.
2) When did LeadPages start and where are you based?
Clay Collins and Tracy Simmons co-founded the company in January of 2013. Once we grew to a handful of local employees we moved into CoCo in St. Paul and quickly outgrew our first home there. In December 2014 we moved into a fantastic permanent space in Minneapolis where the Warehouse District meets Downtown. It’s a great location; big, bright and collaborative, and super close to transit.
3) What is something unique about LeadPages?
LeadPages was recently named the Minnesota’s Fastest Growing Startup (Mattermark). We’re proud of our growth and very thankful to our 35,000+ customers, our 110+ employees, and our investment partners.
4) Why do you sponsor TECHdotMN?
TECHdotMN is the hub for the tech community here. It’s the first place to go for news, events and opportunities. LeadPages is a part of what’s going on, and TECHdotMN is bringing it all together. We really appreciate what TECHdotMN is doing, and fully support them as a spokes-voice for the community.
5) How could Minnesota’s tech industry be better from your perspective (or) is there anything else you would like to add?
Yes! We are incredibly excited to announce that on Thursday, April 30, at 6 PM we’ll be hosting two of the brightest minds in tech as part of our first-ever LeadPages Open House Party — and we want you to join us.
Doug Burgum of Arthur Ventures (and chairman of the board at Atlassian) and Seth Levine of Foundry Group will be at our all-new downtown Minneapolis headquarters for an unforgettable “Fireside Chat” where they’ll talk tech, startups, and more. Before co-founding Arthur Ventures, Doug Burgum sold Great Plains Software to Microsoft for 1.1 billion, and took SuccessFactors to the 3rd largest acquisition in SaaS history. Seth Levine is a legendary VC at Foundry Group.
Afterward, we’ve put together a lively evening featuring music, beverages, delicious food, and plenty of opportunities to network with other Twin Cities tech professionals and check out our new space.
