Thank You Sponsor: InboxDollars

InboxDollarsIt is important to recognize those who financially sponsor TECHdotMN because their contribution helps to advance Minnesota’s technology industry.

Thank You InboxDollars for reinvesting!

What does your company do and why?

InboxDollars connects consumers and advertisers in a way that benefits both. Consumers (Members) earn cash for their everyday online and mobile activities such as reading emails, taking surveys, playing games, searching the web and signing up for offers while advertisers pay only for results that matter most to them. InboxDollars has expanded into the UK (InboxPounds) and Canada (DailyRewards).

It has a strong and growing mobile presence with its Android and iOS flagship apps. Advertisers pay big bucks to reach their prospective customers and we feel Consumers should be rewarded for their role!

When is some background on InboxDollars?

Daren Cotter founded InboxDollars from a dorm room in 2000 while attending Minnesota State University, Mankato. By the time he graduated, InboxDollars was turning into a successful business.

Cotter has successfully bootstrapped the company to $25 million in annual revenue with over 40 employees. The company moved to its first office location 2006, and then moved to their current location in Mendota Heights two years later.

What is something unique about the company?

InboxDollars has a unique culture that attracts new grads and experienced executives alike. They have a work-hard, play-hard mentality, so the employees aren’t afraid to really buckle down during the day.

However, you’ll find trivia going on during lunchtime and you’ll frequently find employees dueling over the Ping-Pong table in the afternoon. These values have landed InboxDollars a spot on the Inc. 5000 list of Fastest Growing Private Companies in America for 6 years.
